Warner Music Prize candidates receive a rave review in The New York Times for “The Classical Style: An Opera (Of Sorts)” at Carnegie Hall

On December 4th, five Warner Prize candidates took the stage at Carnegie Hall for the New York premiere of Steven Stucky’s The Classical Style: An Opera (Of Sorts) to much critical acclaim. Bravo to “the rich-voiced mezzo-soprano Rachel Calloway”, “the robust tenor Dominic Armstrong”, “the dynamic bass-baritone Aubrey Allicock”, “a fine mezzo-soprano Peabody Southwell”, and “the radiant, feisty soprano Jennifer Zetlan”.
